Scam! I received a letter from this place to contact their offices, so I can settled credit accounts. Well let me tell you that I don't have any of the credit cards mentioned and they won't stop sending letters. So, Please be ware if you get any mail from this company.

Short comment: SCAM!!!
Details: I got a mail from this company saying that they recently settled accounts with Chase, CIti, BOA, Discover, Capitol One, HSBC, GE, Target and Wells Fargo, and asked if I have accouts with these lenders and will settle mine as well. However, I only have one credit card with the listed, and the balance has been ZERO for a long time. Also, all the approaches they provided were all that I can do myself. I would say that I got a scam letter from them.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anthony W.Los Angeles, CA305213Feb 15, 2019
Hi, I'm on year two of my three year settlement program with Nationwide. It's true they don't follow up with once your open your account. Although you're welcome to follow up with them for the status of where your are in the negotiation process of the settlement at anytime and they have been responsive.
My debt was around $22k in total. Their goal is to settle for about 40% plus Nationwides fee on top of that, which is their profit.
My total cost for the program was around $12K so I am paying $370 each month for 3 years to achieve the settlement amount plus their fee. The settlement amount is around $8k and their fee is about $4k.
Why would I pay them $4k to negotiate? They have a fund in which they collect my monthly payment. This disciplines me to pay each month over the 3 years at rouhgly a 28% interest rate. I don't have to deal with the stress of creditors calling, and I know everything is getting done behind the scenes.
I called a few other Debt relief companies and each on (rated 5 stars everywhere) had a much bigger fee than $4k! They were more around $5-7K. So if you can get over the bad reviews, I recommned theses guys for your relief. I will update my review as soon as all my accounts close and i'm "free and clear" just dealing with a bad credit score for a while. Totally worth the $10k savings. Thanks Nationwide DD. Love you guys so far:)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jake D.Goshen, CA02Nov 11, 2020
Do not use them. The minute you show any annoyance or aggravation with them they lose all professionalism and just turn snarky. I had a complaint with them and was transferred to a supervisor who instead of trying to work with me resorted to sarcasm and just plain rudeness. Adena was her name. Truly unprofessional and not helpful at all. Do not use them.

If you are drowning in credit card debt and considering your options, I'd suggest giving Nationwide Debt Direct a call.
They are professional and courteous and most importantly, know the ins and outs of handling unsecured creditors.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Aisel O.Queens, NY231122189Oct 12, 2016
Bunch of liers, do not trust them, they are a scam. I received a letter from them and I was curious where did they found this information about me, what's this about! So I decided to search about them online and I found out that they tricked a lot a people that are in desperate need of financial help. They didn't just not help them, but they put them even deeper in debt. This type of garbage people should be locked up in jail, not free to lie to people in need.

Blows my mind how they still have no active website. You get a different person everytime about your account. They lie on "estimated completed contracts". They told me in August I had 3 more payments; called them again in September, nee chick named Carol said I had only 3 more payments. In conclusion, nobody really follows up on you or cares that you're jn debt. I should have never signed up in 2015. This is a dumb ass worthless company if you ask me.

Someone from this company tried to phone me in order to trap me in to using their services. I could tell right away they were fake because the man who called did it while he was walking outside - you could hear all the wind from wherever he was. Since I could barely understand anything he said in the voicemail, I traced the number online and found all I need to know. How do these companies get your information anyway? What a joke. They can't even bother to be professional, so I already know not to trust them.

Do not trust this company. You will be paying and see no results. They wouldn't even refund all the money paid. LIARS!!!!!!

Annoying mailers they keep sending me. They send me a letter like i have a check enclosed saying credit card settlement. I open it up and see crap about consolidating debt. Debt reduction. I dont know how they got my information but stop mailing me. I dont have no debt. I dont know if you guys are desperate or what but stop with the phony mail. Its annoying.
