Junior Youth of the Year

Shayla Hall and Sanaa Yates embarked on a journey together to compete in the 2023 Junior Youth of the Year for the Boys & Girls Club of Fauquier. The Junior Youth of the Year is the pre-cursor for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Youth of the Year program for high schoolers to compete nationwide for college scholarships, brand recognition and speaking engagements. Shayla won the competition and will serve as a role model, ambassador and thoughtful leader at the Boys & Girls Club of Fauquier. She will be sharing her personal story to other middle and high schoolers that are seeking opportunities in mentorship and leadership.
