Black Oak Analytics to Sponsor the 22nd Annual MIT International Conference on Information Quality

Black Oak Analytics is proud to sponsor the 2017 MIT ICIQ this October, hosted by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock

Little Rock, ARK. — Black Oak Analytics, a data analytics firm based in Little Rock, has taken the opportunity to support the prestigious annual Massachusetts Institute of Technology International Conference on Information Quality (MIT ICIQ) from October 6-7 to support advancements in the data solutions industry.

The 2017 conference will feature a forum for both researchers and practitioners to network and exchange information quality (IQ) knowledge and ideas. Practitioners and researchers will present research results and experience related to topics such as IQ concepts, tools, measures, models and management, case studies, best practices, cost/benefit analysis, IQ and data warehousing, IQ and e-business, policies and standards.

Keynote speakers include Pieter De Leenheer, presenting on data governance and capitalization in the big data era, and Doug Laney, who will speak about infonomics, understanding and embracing information as an economic asset. Additional topics include Topic Modelling in Information Quality Research, The Future of Data Governance, and Entity Resolution for High-Dimensional Data.

The conference will have attendees from both local and overseas institutions, from Arkansas’ very own University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to representatives from research institutions in China, Germany, South Australia, United Kingdom, Belgium, India, Kuwait, and more.
