Who Am I?
Who am I? What generation did I grow with and who are the people in my generation? Decades from now, how will people define my generation? 50 years from now, how will people define me. Some may say that the man I am does not define my generation. However, many may say my individuality does define who my generation is. So, let us find out together. Brown boy, black mohawk since the 8th grade. Who am I? My name is Demetrius Johnson.
Growing up, I always had a chip on my shoulder. My number 1 goal is to change my Mom and my two older brothers lives because they raised me. So, me wanting to pursue film production, being from Vallejo, a small town in the Bay Area. Choosing to travel all the way down to San Diego St, four years ago, not knowing anyone, simply is me pursuing the dream to bring back the knowledge to Vallejo. All of my life, I wanted to make a difference, that is all I care about, helping people, that's what I'm passionate about. For me, being able to do it through a camera lens, is truly the art of expression. Now, that I have graduated from San Diego State, and I have received my Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, and New Media Production. I'm ready to bring the knowledge back to Vallejo, so the kids, younger generation, my generation and people overall, can have a platform to do something positive which is creating art. Not too many people where I am from believe things like this can happen, but I believe everything is possible. I want to build actors in the Vallejo community, showing them, there is a better way than what they see which is the "streets." Telling stories, expressing themselves through art and not violence. There are so many plans I have and I'll do whatever it takes to accomplish them for my family, the people in my community (Vallejo), and the inspiring artists overall in the Bay Area.

1Heart Productions will be a YouTube channel/brand which will do amazing videos and films. Specifically, comedy skits, inspirational videos, music videos, and short films. I want to do something positive for people in my community (Vallejo) who want to act and make films. However, 1Heart is not just for actors, it is also for aspiring singers, rappers, and comedians. 1Heart Productions is the overall brand for people in the Bay Area who want to do what they love in the entertainment business. This will be something positive for the community, young people, and overall people who are aspiring to be filmmakers, actors, poets, and entertainers.

Determination
When I was a Freshman at San Diego State, four years ago. I was really struggling to pay for college. So, I took the chance of sending my favorite actor Will Smith a Facebook comment, where I described this goal of wanting to build this platform (1Heart Productions) for inspiring artists in my community (Vallejo) after I finished college. Thankfully, somehow someway, I give all the credit to my God (Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother). He seen my comment, and gave me a scholarship, and payed off a whole year of my schooling which was crucial for me being able to finish school. So, I know when you try, and are determined to accomplish your goals, nothing will be able to stop you.
