MPS Returns to Komen Race for 4th Consecutive Year
Memorial Plastic Surgery returns to the 2019 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® for the fourth year in a row! Together with our top board-certified plastic surgeons, Dr. Patrick Hsu and Dr. Kendall Roehl, the MPS Team welcomes patients and friends to join the Race for the Cure® on Saturday, October 5th, 2019, at Sam Houston Park in beautiful Downtown Houston!
Continuous Breast Cancer Advocacy
For over three decades, The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® has established itself as the leading fundraising event for breast cancer awareness in the world. The Race for the Cure® is a chance for survivors and their families to come together and generate financial support for breast cancer research and awareness. Proceeds will provide women with access to resources such as aid and free cancer screenings.
Susan G. Komen is the biggest non-profit foundation in the world that is dedicated to breast cancer education and research. The foundation began in light of the passing of Nancy Goodman Brinker’s sister, Susan, in 1982. For the last 37 years, the foundation has generated over a billion dollars to provide support to women worldwide.

Komen Foundation has done so much to advance breast cancer awareness and research,” shares Dr. Kendall Roehl. “With the support of one another, these women have the entire community rooting for them to overcome the odds.
