Fender flares that pout like a Rolling Stones poster add 3.5 inches of width to accommodate new tires on the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody 707-horsepower super sedan.

With a 196-mph top speed and 3.6-second zero-60 time, the Widebody package’s 20-by-11-inch wheels, grippy Pirelli tries and six-piston Brembo brakes aim to steer and stop the Charger as well as it accelerates.

The 2020 Charger Hellcat Widebody also is the best-handling production Charger Hellcat yet, sticking to the skid pad at a sports-car-like 0.96 G.

The Widebody package will be standard on the 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat, which has a supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8 engine.

Newly designed front fascia on the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody includes a new mail slot grille opening, providing the most direct route for cool air to travel into the radiator, to maintain ideal operating temperature even in the hottest conditions

Dodge also will offer a Widebody version of its Charger Scat Pack model. The wider Pirelli tires help Chargers with the 485-hp Scat Pack kit hit 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and pull 0.98 G on the skid pad.

Other Widebody features include adaptive Bilstein shocks.

New integrated fender flares add 3.5-inches of width to make room for the wider 20-by-11-inch wheels on the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody.

The Charger Hellcat also adds:

  • Electric power steering with driver-selectable settings.
  • Four drive modes to vary  power, shift points, suspension and traction control settings.
  • 32% stiffer front springs.
  • Bigger front and rear sway bars.
  • 15.4-inch front brakes to reduce 60-zero stopping distance 4 feet to 107.
  • Optional carbon fiber and suede interior trim.
  • Heated and ventilated front seats.

New electronic features include:

  • Race cooldown to cool the intercooler after high-performance runs.
  • Line lock for rear-wheel burnouts to heat and clean the rear tires before drag racing.
  • Launch control to manage wheelspin in full-throttle launches.
  • Launch assist to detect and stop potentially damaging wheel-hop in fast starts.
The 2020 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Widebody features a best-in-class, naturally aspirated 485-horsepower from the proven 392 cubic inch HEMI® V-8 engine

In addition to wheel flares and wide tires, the less expensive Charger Scat Pack Widebody features:

  • Driver-selectable electric power steering.
  • 27% stiffer front springs.
  • Bigger rear sway bar.
  • Launch control, line lock and launch assist.

Dodge dealers will start taking orders this fall. Deliveries should begin in early 2020. Dodge will announce prices closer to when the cars go on sale. Prices for the 2019 Charger SRT start at $65,795. The 2019 Scat Pack goes for $40,245.
