Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an early morning crash in Grant County has left one person dead.

Around 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, OHP responded to a call on State Highway 74 just north of Salt Fork River Bridge.

Officials say Bryson Cole Holeman, 22, was driving a 2003 four door Lincoln when he crashed into cattle that were on the highway.

This caused Holeman to reportedly drive off the road and into a ditch.

Holeman was taken to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, where troopers said he was in “stable” condition.

Troopers say Britton Lane Stacy, 22, was also travelling in the car with Holeman at the time of the crash.

They say Stacy was taken by EMS to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and then to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, in critical condition.

Troopers say Stacy died later around 4:18 p.m. at OU Medical Center.

Officials say it was a foggy morning and that Holeman was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, Stacy was not.
